Morning meditation

Morning meditation

A great start to the day! During this session, learn and practise different meditation techniques that bring relaxation and rejuvenation to body and mind. We’ll help you to find the technique that works for you, so you can take it with you and build it into your daily routine. Regular meditation can help to relieve stress and reduce muscle tension, develop the powers of concentration and clearer thinking, stabilise blood pressure and improve oxygen-consumption levels, enhancing your overall wellbeing.

Mindful nature walk

Mindful nature walk

Our guided walk through Hyde Park is a fantastic opportunity to not only exercise your body, but also to connect with nature and to feel invigorated. You will learn how to create a moving meditation that can enrich your daily life.

Mindfulness

Mindfulness

Living mindfully reconnects us with the present moment, allowing us to be consciously aware of what is happening in the here and now. When we move from ‘autopilot’ to conscious, mindful action or ‘just being’, we can ease feelings of being overwhelmed and can achieve our goals with more ease. On this class you can learn the key principals of mindfulness, along with practicing various techniques that you can build into your everyday life. With practice you can experience reduced levels of stress and muscle tension, improve your sleep, build resiliency and develop powers of concentration and clarity of mind.

Hatha yoga

Hatha yoga

Hatha yoga is a combination of yoga postures (asanas) and breathing exercises (pranayama) that bring peace to the mind and body, while developing strength, flexibility and concentration. This is a slower-paced class that promotes correct alignment, with poses held slightly longer.

Vinyasa yoga

Vinyasa yoga

A flowing, dynamic form of yoga, where there is a smooth transition between poses (asanas) and the movement patterns are connected to the breath. Vinyasa yoga helps to sharpen our inner and outer awareness, while cultivating lasting strength, energy and flexibility. This practice will make you sweat, but it is suitable for all levels.

Slow flow yoga

Slow flow yoga

This practice starts with a gentle vinyasa flow that gives you a chance to refine and strengthen postures and ends with yin and restorative postures to target the deep connective tissues.

Yoga Essentials

Yoga Essentials

This practice is suitable for beginners of yoga, who would like to learn the principals of yoga along with the correct alignment of key poses and breathing. It also suits experienced yogis, who would like to fine-tune their practice.

Yin yoga

Yin yoga

The perfect antidote to urban stress and a great balance to more energetic practices and fitness classes. Yin yoga uses long, passive holds to work on the connective tissues of thephysical anatomy and on the energy systems of the ‘subtleanatomy’, resulting in a profound balancing of inner strength and outer flexibility.

Pilates

Pilates

Pilates works the entire body through a series of repetitive, mat-based exercises. Sometimes your teacher also incorporates small equipment, such as weights and yoga props into these sessions. When practised consistently, Pilates can help improve your strength, coordination and mobility. It can also help to prevent injuries and improve recovery and performance for those doing sports or practising yoga.
